The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Creative Arts Teacher to deliver both Visual Arts and Performing Arts (Music & Drama) for our founding Early Years and Primary students.
This role will combine both disciplines:
8 lessons per week in Performing Arts
8 lessons per week in Visual Arts
As the school grows, the positions will transition into separate specialist roles.
Piano ability is desirable to support music teaching, rehearsals, and school performances.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
Plan, teach, and assess Creative Arts lessons across N1–Grade 4.
Early Years: Use a Reggio Emilia-inspired, inquiry-based approach.
Primary: Integrate Visual and Performing Arts with IPC units.
Foster creativity, expression, confidence, and collaboration in students.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including EAL students.
Incorporate Thai and international arts, music, and drama traditions.
Creative Spaces & Resources
Manage Visual Arts and Performing Arts learning environments.
Provide materials, instruments, and creative resources for student exploration.
Develop visual displays, student portfolios, and documentation to showcase learning.
Performances & School Culture
Lead music, drama, and performance activities for assemblies, celebrations, and cultural events.
Support student showcases, concerts, and exhibitions.
Embed Performing Arts and Visual Arts into school culture and community life.
Collaboration & Professionalism
Work closely with homeroom and specialist colleagues to link Creative Arts with classroom learning.
Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and creative development.
Contribute to co-curricular activities and enrichment programmes.
Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and professional development.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Music, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, or related field.
Teaching certification or Early Childhood qualifications.
2–5 years teaching experience in Early Years or Primary education.
Experience teaching Visual Arts, Music, Drama, or Creative Arts programmes.
Familiarity with IPC, inquiry-based learning, or Reggio Emilia pedagogy.
Piano proficiency is desirable but not essential.
Experience in international school settings is advantageous.
